Harry N. Halscheid, O.D., F.A.A.O.
Harry N. Halscheid, O.D. received his undergraduate degree from Villanova University in Villanova, PA. He then went on to earn
his Doctorate of Optometry from the prestigious Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He completed several clinical externships including
a rotation at the World Renown William Feinbloom Low Vision Center in Philadelphia where he was recognized with honors in patient
care.
Prior to joining the practice, Dr. Halscheid completed clinical training at Hahnemann University Hospital
in Philadelphia specializing in ocular disease and management. He is Board Certified in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease.
He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Optometric Association (AOA), the Pennsylvania Optometric
Association, the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians, the Low Vision & Rehabilitation Section of the AOA and the Chester-Delaware
County Optometric Society. Dr. Halscheid is a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Halscheid's wife, Karen, is an elementary-school teacher and a graduate of Cabrini College in Radnor, PA. Together, they have two daughters, Stella and Nora. They enjoy spending time with friends and family. |
